The Heritage Collection: Montenegro, Small Enough to Hold in Your Hand
There's a particular kind of magic in turndown service. The lights are lowered, the linens are turned back, and something small and unexpected has been left behind. A quiet gesture that says “we thought of you today”.
Each evening, guests return to find a different handcrafted gift waiting in their room and beside it, a postcard that tells its story.
This is The Heritage Collection.
More Than a Gift
Every object in the collection carries a piece of Montenegro within it: Mediterranean lavender, soap made using century-old Luštica traditions, lace patterns protected by UNESCO, wool spun the way it has been for generations. These aren't souvenirs manufactured for a gift shop shelf. They're small fragments of local craftsmanship, chosen because each one has a story worth telling.
And that's where the postcard comes in.
On one side, an old photograph, some more than a century old. On the other, a personal note connecting the story to the present: a round of golf overlooking the Adriatic, swallows nesting under the eaves, or an experience you might discover for yourself.
It looks and feels like something that has traveled a long way to reach you. In truth, it's telling you where you already are.

Six Gifts, Six Stories
Each gift in the collection opens a door into a different corner of Montenegrin heritage, its traditions, landscapes and way of life:
- Golf — a nod to one of Montenegro's earliest golf courses, dating back to 1906 and the open-air leisure culture that grew up around the Adriatic coast.
- Swallows — inspired by the protected birds nesting at the hotel itself, a quiet reminder of nature, sustainability and the wildlife that calls this coastline home.
- Lavender & Spa — Mediterranean scents distilled into calm, connecting spa rituals to the landscape just beyond the window.
- Handmade Soap — inspired by Luštica’s soap-making tradition and the simplicity of natural, local ingredients, using techniques passed through generations.
- Dobrotska Lace — a UNESCO-protected lacemaking tradition, reimagined as a delicate keepsake bookmark.
- Wool & Spinning — the patient, domestic craft of the distaff, a tactile piece of local fiber tradition that guests can hold in their hands.
From Story to Experience
The story doesn't end at the nightstand. Each postcard closes with a quiet invitation , a thread guests can choose to pull. A small handmade gift can become a real experience, curated and guided by the Guest Experience Team: a morning on the golf course, a hands-on soap-making session, a walk through lavender fields, a lesson in lacework passed down from local hands to yours.
Curiosity, in other words, is designed to lead somewhere.
Guests are invited to do whatever feels right with the postcard: tuck it into a suitcase as a quiet souvenir, sign it and mail it home, or simply set it aside as a page in the story of their stay. A blank version, free of pre-written text, may even become its own collectible, something guests write themselves, capturing a moment of their trip in their own words or find and take home from the boutique long after checkout.

A Sense of Place
The Heritage Collection isn't about luxury for its own sake. It's about leaving guests with something more lasting than a well-turned bed — a genuine sense of place, discovered through local stories, traditions and craftsmanship.
Because the goal was never simply for guests to visit Montenegro.
It was for them to leave feeling they had truly experienced it.
