We are proud to announce our attainment of the Green Key certificate, symbolizing our dedication to sustainable practices. Guided by the Earth Check and Zero Waste Montenegro certification processes, we're committed to advancing waste reduction and energy efficiency. We are officially "On the road to zero waste," with a focus on community development, one of the four fundamental elements of this process. Our current Earth Check status is bronze, and we anticipate achieving a silver certificate by year's end. Embracing "Life Cycle" thinking, we seek multipurpose applications for the same products, actively integrating circular economy principles into our business. Our ongoing commitment to these initiatives underscores our mission as an environmentally conscious hotel and an agent of positive change.
During a period when global tourism faced a crisis, it became a turning point for us to shift our focus towards promoting Montenegro's biggest luxury—its surrounding nature. Starting from a solitary individual, we have now grown into a cohesive recreation team of about 20 people. Our services are centered around providing local experiences and year-round outdoor activities. We are thrilled that Luštica's exceptional location enables us to offer guests a diverse range of activities, allowing them to explore our rich natural and cultural heritage with a strong emphasis on sustainable modes of transportation. Among the offerings, guests can relish e-biking through the picturesque Luštica peninsula, complete with picnics or visits to local product producers. Moreover, we offer a variety of water sports activities and beachside yoga for guests to enjoy as part of our hotel's comprehensive package.
