A Michelin-Starred Evening at The Japanese
The Japanese at The Chedi Luštica Bay welcomed a special guest to its kitchen.

On 8 May, Chef Fabio Toffolon, Executive Chef of The Japanese at The Chedi Andermatt and holder of two Michelin stars, joined forces with our culinary team for a one-night-only four-hands dinner that brought together different perspectives, techniques, and inspirations around a shared table.
Over the course of the evening, guests enjoyed a menu created exclusively for the occasion. Developed through a close collaboration between Chef Fabio and our chefs led by Executive Chef Boris Đurković, the experience reflected a mutual appreciation for precision, seasonality, and the simple pleasure of bringing people together through exceptional food.

The Japanese provided the perfect setting for the evening. With its intimate atmosphere and uninterrupted views across the Adriatic, the restaurant became the backdrop for an experience that felt both personal and memorable. Each course revealed a different aspect of the collaboration, combining Chef Fabio's distinctive approach with the creativity and local knowledge of our own team.
Beyond the menu itself, the evening was also an opportunity for conversation and exchange. Guests had the chance to meet Chef Fabio, learn more about his philosophy and experience and share stories around the table long after the final course had been served.

Events like these are an important part of what makes life at The Chedi Luštica Bay so special. They bring together talented people, create opportunities for discovery, and remind us that some of the best experiences are often the ones shared with others.
We would like to thank Chef Fabio Toffolon for joining us in Luštica Bay, as well as all the guests who made the evening such an enjoyable occasion.
As the season continues, we look forward to welcoming more memorable experiences, new collaborations, and many more moments worth sharing.
